    Unhappy Kellen Winslow, Jr.

With Kellen Winslow Jr. getting hurt with a broken leg for the Browns, it really hurts the Browns for this season. He was no doubt going to be a big factor for their offense as well as a team leader, even though he's a rookie. What really sucks is how he got hurt. It happened with 6 seconds left in the game with Winslow on the on-side kick-off return team.
The demand for his RC's now that he's out for 6 weeks, maybe the season, will no doubt tail off. Some football rookie card collectors will stick with his cards for the long term, but a good percentage will stop looking for his cards.
It's too bad 'cause he could've been the Rookie-of-the-Year.

Might be a good chance to pick some of his cards up at a somewhat decent price!?
Also, I Just made a post about the injuries this year, maybe we can update it as a F.Y.I injury alert either for cards, or fantasy.

I would never invest in a player like Kellen Winslow Jr.

    1. he's brash --- in the NFL, you insult Ray Lewis, and he'll knock you into next season and beyond... injuries will cost you 1-2 years of recovery before you're totally 100%

    2. he's overrated --- he's got so much hype coming out of college that his cards are already at a premium

Potential means nothing in the NFL, where a few nasty hits by Ray Lewis will make you "alligator-arm" receptions

Heck, just look at Jeremy Shockey -- constantly hurt, average production

much like Grant Hill of the NBA -- all hype, lots of injury, didn't do crap....RCs worth nothing more than the cost of a Krispy Kreme donut

well Ray Lewis won't have to worry about getting a few of those "nasty" hits on him this year will he? And I don't recall him ever insulting Ray Lewis anyway, not like there's much to insult anyway. He insulted his own bloody team, but never Ray Lewis as far as I know....

With Winslow out for the year, we'll have to wait 'til next year to see how this plays out. Hopefully for Browns' fans - and the NFL in general - Winslow will have a full recovery and be back on the field showing what he can do in a full season, when healthy ... not to mention having his offense all playing in sync and not messed up like they have played the last 2 games.

Winslow is a big target for all NFL linebackers. Not a good sign for Wonslow's longevity. Plus, WInslow has a questionable attitude. Sportswriters don't like that, and thus he will have many negative articles written about him.
