2009 Bowman Chrome Hobby Box
Been looking forward to this product for a while, and saw the CC offer for a break containing images. As you'll see below, the break also turned out to be a nice one:
On a random note, two of my eighteen packs contained only three cards instead of four--a small price to pay for the overall solid names on the three best inserts.
I'm a bit underwhelmed by the visual appeal of the base refractors (although the blue ones are nice, and I'm guessing the gold ones are too). I was thinking of working on that set and probably won't now. Then again, I was a bit underwhelmed by the base set design when I first saw it, so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised. I do really like the prospect set design (refractor or otherwise).
I'm definitely open to suggestions on what to do with the Santana (keep/sell/trade), and if anyone's interested in the others, just send a PM.
