New O.J. Releases?
I haven't collected football much in the last few years but I'm assuming O.J. Simpson hasn't had a card released since the early 90's(if he has,I apologize).I bring this up because the Bills celebrated their All-Time team today and I couldn't help thinking of what O.J. has become. On one hand, he is probably a murderer. On the other, he is one of the greatest players to ever play the game
Do you think card companies should include O.J. Simpson into their products, or do you think it would be in bad taste?
There would be some people who would complain but I don't think most collectors would be bothered by it

I'm not familiar with how the contracts for royalties and such are set up or even how much of a say (if any) OJ has in who gets to use his likeness but any money he made from cards being released would just go straight to the Goldmans anyway so there's not much incentive on his part I'm sure.

I don't think there should ever be another card made of OJ.

Unless they started making homicide used or robbery used cards I don't think OJ will have any more cards...

Lol, i can see it now:
"Upper Deck guarantees the piece of bloody glove on this card as being used in an OJ murder"
"Topps guarantees the piece of gun on the front of this card as being authentic robbery used OJ memorabilia"
LOL

I'd go with nay. Despite being a legend of the gridiron, he has gotten enough negative publicity that'll keep him away from ever appearing on any new piece of cardboard.
