    Recently got some hand-me-downs...

    I just got a box full of early 1990's hockey cards from my late "uncle-in-law". He collected everything, especially Cal Ripken. It's been fun looking through the older stuff. Founds some cool things, nothing of great value, but still. Early Brodeur, Hasek, Belfour cards... a Joe Thornton UD Rookie, stuff like that.

    Looking through the old stuff is always nice, every time I go back home to Quebec I check my Pro Set complete sets if only to laugh at the state of the cards which i manipulated so much as a kid...good old days....

    You didnt have any Roy cards in there did you?

    yeah, a few, maybe 10-12 different ones from 1991-1995 range...
    none of this old stuff is in the beckett..

    I think Beckett did drop publishing values for a lot of those sets. If you check out their online price guide (for whatever it's worth) you should be able to get the info there.

    If you're just trying to figure out info about the cards, Beckett does list everything (no prices) for free.

    And definitely post any questions here. Besides myself, I know there are several others on here that know tons about 1990s hockey :)
