    Is there many plain jersey cards getting faked nowadays? I know patches are pretty common. Would a Kenny bother faking a jersey card?

    It's most likely repatched. The patch has the wrong type of material and that seller has long been known for selling many repatched cards.

    Thanks, I had a feeling that I recognized his ebay handle. He also sold a Kopi cup rainbow / last year, I wish i was smart enough at the time to compare it to some archive scans.

    You might not find him under that name, but he has used several aliases and even now has multiple Ebay accounts (eg. Cupisbest).

    I'm sure mwdonald is more than familiar with him, given his expertise on Cup stuff.

    Defiantly a fake, that patch is from the shoulder patch of a 1997-2007 Senators jersey and Karlsson's photoshoot jerseys are from the current edge jerseys which don't have that patch.

    Upper Deck has used those older 1997-2007 Senators jerseys for Peter Regin and Stephane DaCosta in their rookie seasons but Erik Karlsson did not.

    Was it this one?
