I've bought one used for $50, and restored it (replaced plexiglass, sanded and re-stained). If you're willing to make the trek, I got it from Mississauga's Untouchables... they still had a few left

if you are thinking about doing the expo in Toronto, there is a guy who will rent one to you, saves a whole bunch of hassle carting it all around

I would also check with your local shop. I know my local shop owner doesn't go to shows anymore but he used to and moved all of his cases cheap, it never hurts to ask. As far as buying on the net the shipping will not be worth it. Maybe if you find someone near you selling on the net you can go pick it up. I've done that in the past with large items.

    best of luck

I've built them as displays for jersey's and awards from used hockey sticks for less than $20. The hard part is getting wood sticks anymore.....

Those glass display cases can cost around $180-$200. To build one out of wood with Plexiglass will cost around $100.

    Good luck.
