More Fake AP SPAs
Football season is in full swing and so are the fake patches. If you are buying AP (like so many of us are) - PLEASE be on the lookout for these fakes. The 3 colors are going for up over $700 and I'd hate to see you get taken to the cleaners like that. I've sent messages to two sellers and haven't heard back yet.
Here are the auctions:

and here is an example of how costly not doing your homework can be:

Those cards were absolutely fine the way they were. Leave it up to those fake patch makers to destroy them.

I know the guy selling #389 did not alter the card himself. That one has been around the block.

It will never end with the AP fakes. I have no pity for the person who shelled out 4 grand for the AP Exquisite.

man that is crazy, I saw that card at the Valley Forge Show today the 247 with the head, that poor guy bought it, he is definitely not the maker, the table that was set up was a guy from Boston, the seller of this is in NJ, he was asking 1000 there.

Umm ok, so even though its in a live auction on ebay, you saw it at a show and the seller was from there SAID he was from boston, even though the auction clearly shows NJ. Sounds like you met one of these scammer people and to avoid it being easily obvious or to avoid throwing up red flags about it he lied to you about where he was from. That way if you bought the card and realized what he did after he bought it he wouldn;t be so easy to track down.
He may have ben the poor sap at one point but obviously he has no problems trying to make someone else the poor sap, instead of doing the right thing, eating the loss and just keeping the card to himself.

I sent messages to the sellers and they both pulled the auctions.

People just need to do the research because unfortunately, it will never stop unless eBay steps in..
