Rashad McCants cut by Rockets
Former first-round draft pick Rashard McCants has been cut by the Houston Rockets. He had been invited to attend training camp, but the two sides have parted ways because McCants isn't healthy enough to participates in team workouts. McCants was the 14th overall draft pick in the 2005 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He won a national championship as a member of the UNC Tar Heels.

I believe his contract expired at the end of last season.

oh!! didnt realize that!!! wow!! I dont think he'll be out for long.. he has alot of talent!! We'll see.. oh and so much for him and May bein teammates again

that sucks, i thought he was a pretty solid player. he hooked me up in fantasy, hope he finds a home soon!
