    Hard to Find Multi-color jerseys

    Hey Folks,

Being new to the hobby I ask those who've been around collecting jersey cards what teams jerseys are really hard or impossible to get a multi-color swatch from? I'm not talking about the patch but the jersey fabric itself. And when you do have more than one color in a swatch is it typically from the sleeve?

If you want multi color jersey swatches you just dont buy Upper Deck. In The Game makes tons of them from every team.

When it comes to jersey cards (not patches) it's probably equally difficult to get multi-coloured swatches from any team. Patches are a different story, but for the most part jerseys are single-colour, two colours at the most. If you're lucky you'll manage a 3CLR one every now and then but they aren't very common. Like bigben913 said though, the odds of a multi-colour swatch are MUCH better with ITG than UD.

All good to know, thanks guys.
Let put this out there, is three the most colors you're gonna get on a jersey swatch? I know the patches can get over that but I've never heard nor seen a jersey swatch with more than three.

In theory it should be possible to get a multi-colour swatch of any team jersey. It really comes down to how they get cut up and used on the cards - you'll see a lot of plain colours in the lower end releases but they do add in the odd awesome jersey cards (there's a ton of 4-colour Brunnstroms in the big rookie jersey set from UD2) in the lower-end releases as well. If they can get 2-colour swatches on the tiny little Habs Centennial LBBR cards (see below), they should be able to get them into anything.
