    WNBA News: Phoenix Mercury set scoring record

    The Phoenix Mercury set an all-time WNBA scoring mark in game 1 of the WNBA finals. The Mercury scored 120 points in an overtime win over the Indiana Fever, breaking the old record of 115 points, also set by the Mercury, in a game.

    That's amazing. I forget how long their overtime periods last, but regular WNBA games are just 40 minutes long.

    I believe each OT period is 5 minutes...may be 4 though...not 100% sure, actually, as I missed the end of this game...

    Edit: I just looked it up...it is 5 minutes.
