What the hell is this?
Got this in blaster pack of 09 Threads and can't find any info on it. Card is #51, but the Gridiron Kings set ends at 50, and Stafford is supposed to be #36. I have no clue what I'm looking at...

Am I just really blind and can't see what this is supposed to be or what?

Possibly a special retail only card?

That's what I thought too, but Beckett online doesn't have anything on it, neither does the Panini website's checklist. I'm stumped. I'm gunna have to email them and ask what it is.

I did some searching around online and found a Mark Sanchez version of this card in a Jets uni as #52, but it was on Ebay for Italy... And that listing didn't have any info that I didn't already know. Plus it was listed by someone in North Carolina... So I'm still stumped.

Panini has been putting a lot of stuff in retail only. that would be my guess
Elite had a whole bunch of lower-tier RCs that you could only find in Elite blasters

That's what I thought too. But why isn't there any mention of it on the Panini website? It's not anywhere in the checklist or any mention of it in the set descriptions. I've got an email into them asking about it, but haven't gotten any response yet.

Ok so I got a response about the card. They say it was a marketing card that was inserted into retail packs and won't be listed on any checklists and such, and that it was a limited run, but the run won't be made available. Kinda cool looking card, having Stafford in his Detroit Uni. Might have to hold on to it for a bit.
