    SOTT production runs?

How would you determine, or does UD say what the run for a particular player is? I had someone offer a Zetty SOTT and said they were SP'd. Its not listed in Becketts. My concern is with Zetty being ALWAYS late if at all for autos, is that UD is holding a bunch and will give them out in the future.

As far as I know UD will not give out production runs for SOTT cards, but I believe your theory might be right as I know unlisted Zetterberg autographs are famous for suddenly appearing on the market long after the product is out.

The Zetty could be an SP, but if it's anything like last year, there could be a possibility that UD is sending them out as replacements for cards they could not replace. This happened last year when the Zherdev and Kopitar autos started popping up in the fall out of nowhere. In the end, the Zherdev and Kopitar SOTTs (to my knowledge) did not end up in any packs.

Something I posted in another thread is while nobody really knows the print run of the SPs, I know a dealer with a Kurri 07-08 SOTT for sale and he has heard that apparently there were only five Kurri SOTTs made last year. Who knows if the SP run would be the same for every card or not and this is only a rumour, but I've only seen two in person or the internet. Geschrocks33 has also noticed that the 08-09 Ryan Miller SOTTs seem to be SPs this year as well and he has only seen a very limited number as well.

Like I said, these are only two possibilities.
