I am about to mail Topps again.
Soooo many damaged cards.
I am not complaining, Topps takes care of you if you mail them.
When I was younger I may not having given a darn if a card is messed up, but these days it's an expensive hobby...
this is my 4th letter after a few months back collecting.
...am i being too anal

they might flag you as a serial complainer. if i had that many quality issues with a company, i'd drop them. are you working on a set or something?

How can I be a serial complainer? The product is damaged lol, nothing to do with me, I'm just opening the boxes.
If you buy a Honda and the engine keeps blowing out is Honda going to ask me to stop being a customer??
Like I said, I am not complaining, Topps has come through when you notify them. The fact of the matter is a good % of their product is damaged. I open each pack carefully and yes, I am trying to complete each individual set, except for the Laundry Tags and Logomans (obviously).
I have opened roughly 3 cases in 2 or so months and again, a small % of product is damaged.Last edited by Manute Bol; 10-04-2009 at 06:11 PM.

I know what you mean, Topps is usually good with understanding damaged cards. I had a Ben Gordan auto that was smudged and they sent me back a replacement. Very easy company to work with, but now that they are second rate to Panini they just might not care.

I doubt that Topps will NEVER produce cards again, I am willing to bet they do special cards once a year or something.
