According to Baseball Almanac, there are only two Hastings to have played Baseball.

    Charles Morton Hastings 1893-1898

    Winfield Scott Hastings 1876-77

Noone with the last name Holdings.

    There are a couple Holden.

I am at a loss myself.
Guess it gets cubed and forgotten.
I can press the dates The ball is from 1931-1974, that's is ALL I can sayy for sure. It is also a Reach ball.
I have to say,for being from a minimum of 35 years old, it is showing **** nice color and brilliant stitching.

I will label it mystery ball :)

Also- where are you from (state-wise)? Or, where did this ball originate from if you happen to know??

It came from an old guy who moved here from Florida.
I tell you, I have 12 more that you cannot even hardly see the ink.
The guy was about 82 and he and his dad used to go to a lot of games
But yah, I have a dozen more reach balls that will never be identified :) One of them looks like it's 90 years old, that dark mahogany brown. It will never be identified either, but it will look nice in a cube.

    I am from Tennessee.
I am not sure that I would sell it.The whole mystery Sig thing is an attention getter here at the house :). I got the balls right. The Mantle is on a friends, well,Mantle. When you get things at the right price, they make terrific gifts ;)
Now,based on who/what you collect, maybe you have an idea who's sig that is ..hrmm ?? :)
