My new listens are:
Alice In Chains - Black Gives Way To Blue
Ventana - American Survial Guide Vol 1
Gojira - All the Way to the Flesh (not a new release but going to see them soon)
Pearl Jam - Backspacer
Also listened to the new Jay-Z, my fav is the Jay/Kayne song "Hate"
As for the other releases, long time AIC fan and of course lovely the vocals of Layne and Jerry, it was prefect but now with William, Jerry has to adjust of course and it seems like this CD, they are playing it safe. They next CD will really make everything more flowing. Ventana is a band formed by Mushroomhead's STITCH, just as heavy and at times harks to familiar Faith No More memories but its a stand alone sound that yet showed Cleveland does has a place in metal.
Backspacer, you cant say much of Pearl Jam expect they make really good music. I just picked up Riot Act and its amazing, they are timeless with the music they create and with 9 studio cds, number of comps and others the wealth of material is unreal.

it's from early 09 but "No Line on the Horizon" is incredible! One of U2's best. up there with joshua tree and unforgettable fire!
