    Series III hype thread

Okay, so Topps has finally released its second series of MMA cards, which leads to the questions, what's next?

I heard rumor of a high-end product next, but I seriously doubt it. MMA cards are still in their infancy, and I don't think there is a serious calling for a high-end product yet. Of course, that's just my opinion. They may release a high-end set tomorrow. I don't know.

But, with Topps announcing the Fight Poster Review set as continuation, that leads me to beleive there will be at least three more MMA series cards to cover the fight poster (if there are 25 released each series as in series II).

It may be too early to speculate, but I'm already thinking about Series III. Anyone have any information about it?

I'm still knee deep in Series 2, so I can't really think about stuff yet.

I really hope it doesn't go high end. My wallet already hates me enough as it is...

I'm really liking the Fighter poster review though. Aside from the Undisputed cards, all the inserts turned out pretty good i think. I just hope there won't be any Undisputed 2010 cards; that would make me a bit sad.

Also, I would like to see a Logan stanton card, Matt Hughes auto, and other cards that were on the sellsheet for series 2 but were taken out for some reason.

I think Topps would be stupid to go more "high end" with the UFC cards. The cards are already fairly high end at $150 a box, anything more than that would be stupid in this economy. I can see them waiting for the next season of TUF to release Series III as that will give them a bunch of new autos.
