Is this card a fake??

I couldn't find this card in any Beckett so did a little digging. The UD website has the exact card listed as an 01/02 card minus the auto.

If you look at the image of the Neely, it's the same card.

So what do you guys think? Some guy sign and hand number the card to try and make some $$ or am I missing something? Any info is appreciated.

Very sketchy, most hand numbered cards will come with a COA which this one lacks.

04/05 UD Legendary had many older Jersey from other sets that they got the players to sign.

The Neely you see isnt a fake, just a buyback .... therefore the card in the auction should come with a COA.

I broke a box of Legendary back when it 1st came out, was pretty awesome too! I remember pulling these 2:

Triple Auto Simmer / Dionne / Taylor
Cheevers buyback auto jersey /13 ( or something around there )

If you intend to buy though, I would contact the seller asking if the COA is coming along with the Neely.

I think it is!..Even beckett online doesn't have that card as a 2004-05. like you said it's an 2001-02 card.

I've seen other cards from this set, I don't know what the Buyback cert looks like though. Probably like all the others from those years. Seller should have it.

Looks to be fake. UD buyback autos are usually accompany by a COA and a sticker of authentication on the back of the card.
