Card Show Pick-ups!
I went to the card show today at Gonzaga Hall in Milwaukee (It's really considered West Allis), WI. I had $57 to spend and brought some base/inserts/rcs/#'ed/parallels to try to sell/trade.
What I got! (What I paid in ()'s)
1-100 2002 Playoff Contenders base set ($5)
2 cards have damaged corners :( It came in a snap-tite) I can always get new ones.
2007 Playoff Contenders Greg Olsen RC AU ($15 for this, $5 for the other two)
2007 Playoff Contenders Anthony Spencer RC AU
2008 Playoff Contenders Chaz Schilens RC AU
($20 for the three cards)

($2 for the three, it was $1 a card, the guy let me have the three for my remaining $2)

I thought I did pretty good at the show!

I like the show. It's in a gym, it's packed! Lot of stuff? I would say so! I saw some nice cards there! It's $1 to get in but in my opinion, it's worth it!

I've heard about that show, but have never gone....I live just south of Madison....great stuff! Looks like you're a Bear fan! My advice, stay away from Garrett Wolfe stuff....save the moola for Payton whatnot! I think back to all the money I've spent on ex-Colts players.....could probably have 3 Walter Payton autos for what I've spent!
