Ok now this same seller has now had 3 of these for sale, these are numbers 2 and 3, 3 just ended tonight.
I have a hard time believing these can be real. Yes theres the number stamping on the back and he claims they both have some kind of stampin on the front, but there is nothing about these in beckett and they show a couple 98 score manning autos and buybacks. None of which are numbered to 20. When i asked to see a scan of the front to show the stamping he tried refering me to another auction, that wasn't his, that was going on at the time that did show some kind of stamping, although it couldnt be read. And even if it does have the stamping on the front, one why wouldnt he show it, and two it wouldn;t be the first time someone acquired a factory stamp or made on of their own.
So are these real??? or i this a newer scam popping up on the scene?

Well it probably wouldn't have raised any red flags except it looks like they used the same image of the front for ALL 3 auctions and only showed the different backs. And then add in the fact that theres inly suppose to be 20 of these made and theres they've had 3 and then theres been a couple others pop up too, all around the same time. Be sure to read his auctions closely too, he claims hes traded for ALL of these and hes also had a bunch of other buybacks and even tried passing mannings regular press pass auto that he tried claiming was the sportsfest press pass even though it clearly wasn't.

Yah he never said anything about a coa, and the stamping on the front i remember him saying something about it being a cleveland something or another stamp.

Oh and for the record i never bid on any of them, thought about it some the first one which was a BIN, but decided not to since money was tight and then he got the second one and that was an auction and really REALLY was considering it then and thats when i started asking about the details and decided to pass since he basically refused to show a head on scan of the front and i thought the front looked similar to the first one, and then wham he pops up with yet another one and really strted wondering what was up with these sice he wouldn't say the year of the buyback, oly aid something about a cleveland stamp, and beckett had absolutely nothing similar numbering wise in their database
Jut glad i waited and started asking questions before i pulled the trigger, instead i bought a 2002 ud super bowl manning auto /500. not a rc auto and doesn't have a high bv but its a clear, on-card auto of a future hof'er having a great year so far.

Ok well i finally got a response from donruss, these card were produced, they were released at the 09 nationals in special packs.
So it looks like they are real and this person must have made/known a lot of friends at the nationals.

If it has a Cleveland Stamp on front, it is probably a Promo from the National, and most likely legit.. That is probably why he had more than 1..
