Print run for UFC Topp 2009 - Hobby & Retail

Anyone know the print run for these boxes?

I've done some preliminary calculations and estimated them to be ~14,800 boxes for Hobby, and 7750 for Retail.

I got these numbers by looking the exclusive card type for each set. Hobby has the #/25 dual mat cards and #/25 auto ultimate gear cards, and the Retail has the #/88 base parallel Bronze cards.

The basic formula I came up was:

Pack odds / Packs per box * (number produced * cards in series)

So for a fairly rare card like the Dual mats which are 25 produced, 4 cards in the series, with pack odds of 1:1900 packs, the calculations would be

    1900/16*(25*5) = 14,843 boxes or 1,237 cases

I've done the same calculations with the Ultimate gear autos and came up with a similar number of 14,765 boxes.

I'm not a math guy, so let me know if any of you can confirm or refute my findings. Thanks

    Gold Parallel

That means the gold parallel is much easier to obtain in this version compared to round 1. I took your math at 14,800 boxes = 207,200 packs with gold cards in them (assuming 2 packs / box do not contain gold cards) = 1,381 gold sets

in round 1 there were something like 432.

BTW, I'm new here and will be looking to trade once I bust my 3 round 2 boxes. I understand I'll have to send first with you guys. My eBay ID is liquidstar and my user name at psacard.com is gstarling if you want to look up my reputation.

I think you are correct in your assumption of ~1,381 gold sets. I bought a case and was almost able to finish a complete gold set, plus a handful of extras. So the number of gold cards should be somewhere close to the number of cases.

BTW, You won't have to send first with me. I'm still under 10 trades, so that rule doesn't apply (yet). Let me know what you break outta that box.

I'm specifically looking for any mat relics and gold parallels that i dont have.

Nice Math, but I wonder what the odds will be of getting any pulls out of the Retail boxes?
I know it won't matter for the /25 cards you used for your numbers.

Anybody have a retail pack? Or Box?

Here's another math question? So if we know the print run numbers and the stated odds below is there a way to figure out how many auto graphs of each fighter?? I don't remember where to saw this before but someone figured out how many autos for each fighter for round 1. First one to figure it out and PM me will with the formula in basic terms with the answers I will mail you one base card from round one. your choice GSP, Silva, Lesnar, Gracie or Machida. Or any other I just know I have those. Thanks DW
