Upper Deck Redemptions

I just saw on another trading site that UD has said Kevin Durant will not be signing any more of his redemption cards. They also said not to buy his redemption off of eBay since they won't be filled. I have a redemption out for a Lamar Odom auto and noticed that most of his 09-10 Exquisite cards are Autos, which from what I have seen are all redemptions.

I am wondering just how hard UD is going to try and fill their redemption cards that are currently out there. I am getting the feeling they probably do not care that much if redemptions go unsigned since they no longer have their NBA license. I was hoping they would fill the Odom ones since the 09-10 exquisites would be nice to have, but I have decided not to touch those and hope that they come through then pick up a redeemed one of eBay. After hearing about Durant, I am not very hopeful.

Anyone else heard of any players who won't be having their redemptions filled? Or anyone with some BIG redemption cards your still waiting on?

I know of quite a few people waiting for Durant Redemptions, it's been quite some time so this definitely doesn't suprise me. Get ready for alot of good/bad redemptions across the boards

Maybe UD can pry Spud Webb away from Topps to sign and send everyone "equal replacements" on their redemptions.

I was one of the posters on the original thread you are referring to..

Would you guys think I should ask for a replacement for the Durant auto asap so I have a better chance of getting something decent before everyone else does it too... or when UD decides they won't fulfill them and send out anything they have left..

I have a bunch of other redemptions that are outstanding and now I'm really concerned about all of them. UD has even sent me shipping notices on some of them, but I still have not received anything.

I personally don't have any links. This was reported on another card site. I don't know if I'm allowed to post the thread from that site or not, but if anyone knows if its ok, then I'll post it.

I have a Kobe redemption pending right now to be replaced. UD has said on their facebook page that they have a signing with Kobe soon to fulfill outstanding redemptions, hope they go through with this!

Also, I say you definitely ask for a replacement for the Durant, something is better than nothing.

Interesting. I pulled a junk auto redemption out of SP Authentic. I requested a replacement, and they sent me a Durant Auto!!!! Guess, I should hang onto it.
