Counterfeit?
I just bought a Varlamov Ulitimate RC card from someone on this site, the card arrived today in perfect condition but there is one problem....the first name says Semen.
Is this an error or did I just buy a really nice counterfeit?
This is not a joke(maybe on me it is) and this is not photoshopped, these are the scans of the actual card I received.
Having trouble putting the scans on this thread but please check my bucket.

Varlamov's name has been spelled many ways on his cards, more to get away from the distasteful sounding "Semen". I wouldn't worry about it.

Its the normal card, UD (being the geniuses that they are), spelled his name Semen, on a LOT of the cards, you will see his Artifacts RC, and your Ultimate RC, and a lot of UDothers spelled his name wrong

That is not an incorrect spelling of his name and I wish people would stop saying as such. Look at the various ways it has been done on many different sources: Semen, Simeon, Simyeon, etc. Russian to English translation is not an exact science, folks, on account of the alphabets being entirely different. Russia uses the Cyrillic alphabet, English is based off of Latin.

As others have said before its the liberal translation of his name.
But don't be too quick to bash UD as they're not the only ones to choose this spelling:
