Obama/Holder linked to Rush smear/loss of bid

"NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith served as counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder and was a member of Barack Obama’s transition team."
Why has the media failed to mention this? Was it not this guy's statement that ended Rush's bid?

I don't see why that statement would even carry any kind of merit towards an issue with bidding on an NFL franchise

really??? Head of the players Union coming out with this statement??? It got a very fast response from Roger Goodell and the owners. Are the leauge and owners going to oppose the Union on this with the potential strikes coming next year? the Union basicly made the decision here. I guess i'm not really surprised. Another UNION connected to Obama.
