does anyone post 'trade advice' for non-listed cards?

It seems to me the cards too low to price are often hard to trade as people write up their own values. I was wondering if the opinion could go out to tha masses. It will probably be skewed by friends or people who don't like the cards, but several times I get people not knowing what they want to do as their afraid they're going to lose $20 bv on the deal. It's just a pain to trade these cards.

for sure it makes it a little tougher..... but the easy thing to do is if you want a low #ed card from someone, offer them a card with a similar print run, of a player with similar value.

BVs aside.... if someone were to offer me a card #/35 of a player I collect (and didn't already own).... and wanted a card #/20 that I had, but of a player I have no interest in..... (also assuming that the sets are comparable, and they're both the same type of card.... i.e. GU, Auto, whatever) why wouldn't I make that deal?

Values (what you could sell for, or what you could get in trade for elsewhere) are obviously very important.... but if you're adding a card(s) you need, in exchange for card(s) that you don't..... are people really that worried about being up or down 10% in BV?

it is very simple for me. i just ask the person who has the card that is NPDTS what BV that they put on it. i just go by that. everyone will have a different opinion on what their cards BV have. if i agree or like the BV that they say i will try to work out a trade. if they say a BV much higher than i think i will just pass.

Yeah, my cards always seem to be the lower end ones though. lol. I was thinking more specific like is a 2005 crosby bla bla about equal to a 2001 Gretz so and so...

I think it great when you can find comparable cards like 30ranfordfan mentioned. But there a lot of times when it just doesn't happen that way when trying to trade.
