2008 SP Authentic box
Hey all,
I just busted a box of 2008 SP Authentic that I nabbed from Blowout's Columbus Day sale for $14.92. That was a sick price. Anyway, on to the hits and inserts. As of now, nothing is up for trade or sale because I'm still trying to build my collection, but I might consider it in the near future. Here we go.

I'm very happy with this box, especially considering I paid only $14.92 for it. Is the Joba a case hit? I would appreciate an answer, just because i'm curious. It would be my first case hit. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I'm happy with the box. I got the box from www.blowoutcards.com. I scour the internet when I'm ready to buy a box of cards and they almost always have the best prices, so I buy from there. Every weekend they have specials on all sorts of boxes. I just bought two boxes for about $10 off the normal price on each. Go check them out.
For this particular box, Blowout was doing a special on Columbus Day (this past Monday) and selling some boxes for $14.92 and other boxes for $92 and yet still higher end boxes for $149.20 to celebrate Columbus Day. They would post the specials at random times during the day and it was first-come, first-serve. For the SP Authentic, they only had 3 boxes at this price. I had a quick trigger that day I guess. You basically had to sit there on the computer and keep refreshing to make sure you didn't miss it. They were gone in like 15 seconds.
They also did a similar deal on 9/9/09 and sold sub-$100.00 boxes for $9.99 and then sold the higher end stuff for $99.99 on crazy discounts. These they did all day and had a new deal every half hour or so. I managed to get two great boxes for $9.99 that day.
Go to the website and sign up for their forum, which is exactly like this one. You'll get the news there. I wonder if they will do one for Veteran's Day (11/11) or maybe Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Avstars - thanks for the info. I thought it was weird that BV is $50 but the card looks like a run of the mill patch.
Predator314 - I bet those that get bad boxes don't post as often. I've seen some people post some truly terrible boxes though.

Wow 15 for SP authentic is amazing. I busted 3 or 4 boxes of it and it didnt go nearly as well as you one box. Congrats
