Madison, Wi (WSAU) The Wisconsin Men's Hockey team built a two-goal lead, but couldn't hold it against Colorado College, dropping the season opener 3-2 at the Kohl Center Friday night. Blake Geoffrion and Andy Bohmbach put the Badgers ahead early in the contest. The Tigers started their comeback midway thru the 2nd period. The winning score came with a little over two minutes left in the game. Wisconsin had 15 more shots than the visitors but couldn't find the net in the 3rd period. The two teams play again Saturday night.
