Walgreen's good about printing sports photos? Handful of places around me are sticklers....
Printer went down so I tried to print 3 4x6 customs at Wal-Mart...lady tore them up and wouldn't let me purchase. She said, "You didn't make them." I said, "Well technically by "make" yes I did the graphic design work." No dice. Then again, I saw another Wal-Mart store refusing to make reprints of "kids with santa" photo's, told people to go back to the mall and get a release form. I can understand if people are trying to reprint their wedding photos, but really? A cheap digital of santa or 4x6 homemade sports cards?
CVS stores bone ya too.
So, to wrap it up...anybody have any issues at their local kodak kiosk's....

Way back in the day I worked in a photo lab for a few years. If they even smelled like professional pics I'd refuse them. That was insane trouble if any of them got by. The time I really felt bad was a young couple with a baby. The first time the baby could go out they were walking by the Today show and the NBC guy took a couple of pics. Long story short they wanted reprints and I had to refuse because they were clearly professionally done and they had the Today show logo in the one corner.
That said some stores will send people in with copyrighted pics just to bust their employees. Can't really blame people for being careful about their jobs.

I can completely understand. I can't be, and was not mad, at the employee who refused to sell them. I'd do the same thing in their position. I worked at a movie theater and secret shoppers came in all the time...gotta do what ya gotta do. Why risk your neck for some stranger in that regard? Just was wishing it was so stringent at times. Then again, we all wish for stuff...

I got refused at Walgreens for some pix I took so I complained because they have printed stuff like that before for me so I had to sign a wavier stating they where mine.

I have no objection to the store refusing a pic that they think is professional, but it seems to vary a lot.
Further, I found some great photos on Flickr of a specific player who did not have any photofile photos, and contacted the owner to get permission to use them, and to get a larger one sent electronically, since the Flickr one is miniscule, and never received a response. I would be more than happy to compensate them for their work, but it would be nice if they responded!

Professional vs. a hack with a great camera at a game is all but subjective. I know a guy at the local AA team that has ridiculous cameras. He is not in it for the money, and a professional by no means. He does send me photos and I usually buy him a beer and a dog when I see him next.
Im telling you, with a upper grade digital camera, you can do wonders!
Tell your walgreens guy that you are a photog hobbiest and have great equipment. If he still balks, take your business elsewhere!!! Ask for the district mgr, regional, etc. Im sure that you go there for other things like cold medicine, vitamins, etc. Dont think they want to lose customers over a photo. You have to walk in there confidently and dont take no for an answer.

Pro vs. Hack. I like that. I consider myself a bit of an amateur photographer, and actually thought about taking some pics from a triple A ball game I went to for a few enlargements. Kinda hoping the person attempts to stop me...

EXACTLY!!! I have been questioned once or twice and told them I took the photos. The girl was looking at me funny, so I went to my car and got some other photos I took while on vacation in Arizona, she quickly saw that I got a pinky full of talent, and a sick camera.
I havent had trouble since
