need some opinions on computer security

Since my I recently had to wipe my comp clean and start fresh me and the wife are looking for the best security/anti-virus type program we can get. Currently we are looking at ZoneAlarm Extreme security edition, it seems to be a pretty decent product. Does anyone use it, or does anyone know of a better one? Any input would help. Cheers, Andrew.

I use the free version of AVG and it works great. I had Norton before and it stunk.

I have been using CA Antivirus and love it and have never had a problem - So good Time Warner started using it in my area as its online antivirus for suscribers.

I get McAfee complete Suite with my comcast account and it works pretty good.

there is also the new free MS product that came out recently that has been getting good reviews.

Regardless of what you install you still need to be careful where you're surfing and what is being clicked on and downloaded, especially when opening up emails from people you may or may not know.
I'd recommend using SpyBot and Ad Aware in conjunction w/ whatever you use for your Security Software.

I used to use Zonealarm, but it really never did me much good.

I have had 0 problems since I switched to this free Triumverate:

    Spybot
    Ad aware
    Windows defender

so far so good and its been almost 2 years since I have been using only those products.
