    Question about Maxx racing cards

Long story short...I was talking with one of neighbors today when I told him that I collect sports cards. He mentioned that "back in the day" he had bought some Maxx racing cards sometime in the 1980's.

I'm not a NASCAR card collector, but I told him that the earliest Maxx cards that I know of were the late 80's. He thinks he got them earlier than that, but isn't 100% sure. What he does know is that he kept them sealed all these years. However since his family had just moved a short while ago into their home, it was still in all of their moving boxes so he didn't know where they were (I saw, they got tons of stuff to unpack).

Is there any NASCAR or Maxx racing cards that go back before the 1988 editions? Any info on this would help us out. Thanks!

No as far as Maxx cards, the first issue was 1988. Proset I believe came out with something before. Not certain though. Do know for sure though the first issue was 1988 for Maxx.

Thank you. Let me ask one more question. What are the differences between the 1988 Maxx Charlotte & 1988 Maxx Myrtle Beach sets?

Print run is the biggest difference. Somebody else will have to chime ion on any other difference but there is a wealth of knowledge on here. Won't be long before you find that out.
