How do you feel about door #'ed cards

How do you feel about door #'ed cards. In my opion I don't understand why people are paying an extra premium for door #'ed cards. When some people have them/sell them they say they are 1/1, which is BS. Why are their values much more? They are the same card as the other #'ers, just not the same as the car #'er. I just don't see that big of a deal. I know some of you will disagree with me.

I think door numbers are pretty neat. I don't have one yet though. I guess people will pay more for them because its the number of the car.. means something to them. I agree that they aren't 1/1 because if it was a Denny Hamlin card, the number would be 11/##. And 11 is definately not a 1.

I love door #s-they carry more of a premium simply for the fact that a lot of people want them and are good collection pieces-I cherish everyone of mine and love getting more.

    Couldn't agree more. I'd much rather have a Jimmie #'d 048/100 than one #'d 067/100.

Its the same in every sport. People want the jersey numbers just like the door #'s. I personally don't care. I'm with Griffeyfan, I don't care if its #'d43/100 or 20/100 (Being a Joey fan) I'd rather pay less for the same card.

The closets I have to a door #ed is from PP2 #137 NSCS #25 car. The card is 031/100. Besides that, everything is way off!

Where's Dave when you need him?? He is the king of door #'s

As far as I am concerned, I have a few of them, and they are neat, but I don't go out of my way for them. They do add to the value of the card though, as some are willing to pay higher for them. If I can get the same card cheaper with a different #, then so be it.
