Heatley not concerned with public perception

Dany Heatley is moving on and loving life in San Jose, remaining unmoved by the public opinion that his reputation has taken a serious hit after a tumultuous and controversial summer that included trade demands and trade rejections.

I mean what else can he really do. As can't change what the perception of him is be it real or not real. I hope he helps San Jose go deep this year.

I don't know why (excluding Sens fans) people hate Heatley so much. He wanted to be traded because he didn't feel he was getting enough ice time under the current coach, thus not producing. You can't really hate a guy for wanting to play a lot so he'll produce more, can you?!

I think he looks great in San Jose and I hope to see them far in the playoffs!
