Was tested for H1N1 today
Took ill yesterday, made my way to the nurses office at work and of course was sent home, I work in a middle school. Called the Drs. office this morning to see if I could even get in. They were able to see me and of course was running a fever. They came in with the swab and stuck it up my nose, came back negative, Thank God. They then took x-rays of my lungs, got me a few scripts and sent me home on bed rest through the weekend. Reallly sucks but things could have been a lot worse.

Hope you feel better, I was sick last week. Dr thinks it was H1N1 but I wasn't tested for it. I am feeling better now. Good luck to you.

Man I'm tellin ya ...
I got up Tuesday morning myself and felt like a MACK truck hit me. I went to work and after my boss seen me she said I need to go home or to the doctor or something. So I called up the Doc and they got me in, they didn't do any tests for H1N1 but the Doc said I had a "Viral cold or possible Flu" so he prescribed me some Tamiflu and sent me home. I feel a bit better today and unfortunately had to come to work because I have no sick time left to use.
Oh well .. hope all is well on your end, rest and plenty of high quality H2O always does the trick!!

I know the hit by a Mack truck feeling. Not right now though, I am on Codine Syrup for the cough, Biaxin for the antibiotic and Pregnozone to help open my lungs up so I can breathe. Thanks a lot and glad to hear you are feeling better.

I was scared to death, thought for sure that is what I had. Working in a middle school, we always have sick kids running around. Sometimes I do not know my own good though, I went by the nurses office and just about fell down from being dizzy. They immediately sent me home, luckily I live less than 5 miles from my school. They were going to have the deputy take me home and make me leave my car there.
