Redemption.....finally
Well almost a year later, I finally get a package from Panini today with my 3 redemption cards. The original redemptions were from 2007 Rookies & Stars which were rookie autos of Kenny Irons, Craig "Buster" Davis, and Aaron Ross. Instead they sent me autos of Carlos Rogers, Javon Kearse, and Joe Thiesmann. Better than nothing!

Yeah I got Javon Kearse and Carlos Rogers also for my replacements, guess it is better than nothing...

not nescesarily. send them back with a letter explaining what you collect. My first was for aaron ross from that set and i got an antrel rolle auto instead. I emailed then sent the card back with a letter including my cell number. They called me and wound up sending me a Tiki barber tools of the trade auto jersey from a previous year. Being a giant fan it was a ton better than the rolle. just be nice in the letter and they should take care of you

Yah i would definately be upset about the kearse. Im sorry but they have no business producing a card just to use as a replacement and if they insist on doing this they should only be doing it with hof'ers and guaranteed future hof'ers. If these were simply a freebie and an extra tossed in with the replacement that would be one thing, but to try to use these as a replacement is a major no-no. I'd rathe receive a box or even some packs than a specially manufactured card of someone who will have very little value in the distant future.
Im just glad they asked me what i would like and verified that the card id get as a replacement would be ok before sending it out. That is how replacements should work, if they can't supply the card they promised on the redemption they should give you more value wise and something you'd want. I hate hearing about all the replacements that just get sent out without the company ever asking what the person would be interested in. Im not saying they should have to give a superstar auto as a replacement for a scrub auto redemption, but they should at least give 10-20% more in bv than the card they promised in the redemption.

Do you guys think I should send them back? I like the Theismann, but the other two I can care less about.

For the players being replaced, overall it is decent replacement.
I don't know how much value those cards (specifically produced as replacements) would hold though, except for the Theismann.

I had 6 redemptions back in the day of the same player and he was a HOF they asked who I collected and I told them Panthers they sent me 6 scrub Panthers I was p.o.
