Joe Alexander out up to 12 weeks

Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond announced today that forward Joe Alexander re-aggravated his right hamstring injury during rehabilitation exercises this week.

After consulting with Bucks orthopedic physician Dr. Michael Gordon, M.D., Alexander is expected to be sidelined for a period of 8-to-12 weeks. Alexander will be re-evaluated on a regular basis and his status will be updated as necessary.

Alexander, 22, originally suffered the injury during voluntary drills prior to the start of training camp on September 17.

That's a big blow to the Bucks...he's basically their third best player, behind Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut...

I honestly hope you were joking with that statement, though I'm pretty positive you aren't. Alexander is NOWHERE near the 3rd best player on the Bucks. The only 3rd best he is on the Bucks is 3rd best Small Forward, behind Luc Mbah a Moute and Carlos Delfino. Alexander wouldn't even see regular minutes this season. Boy you're clueless

To top it off the Bucks have until October 31st to extend their option for the 2010/11 season on Alexander....guess what???? The Bucks are NOT extending that offer to Alexander and he'll be a Free Agent after this year. But hey, he's the 3rd best player on the Bucks!!!!

I don't follow the Bucks very closely, but skimming their roster, I didn't see anyone else who I'd call 3rd best...maybe the better choice of words would've been that he looks like he could be the 3rd best player this season for the Bucks.
