Shipping 8x10's HOW
How does everyone ship there 8x10's for TTM? Do you use padded envelopes? Plain white ones with cardboard to protect the picture? Do you take both envelopes to the PO to weigh or just guess for return postage?

I put them in the brown envelopes that are about 9x12ish. I just stick the 8x10 in there in a plastic sleeve and send it with the SASE in it. Havent gotten any damage of any kind.

I do just what white does above, but I Don't use a sleeve. I'm pretty impartial to damage though as long as the picture doesn't get creased or ripped.

i only use she sleeve for glossy photos, which tend to smear occassionally, but usually, putting DO NOT BEND on the back works just fine

I use 9x12 plain white envelopes to TTM 8x10's. I put 2 regular stamps and one postcard stamp on both. I have done a lot of these and only had a creased photo one time. My mailbox is large enough that they fit just fine in though. I would imagine that if someone had a smaller mailbox like the ones that hang on a porch that you might run into issues.

I use a 9x12 envelope for the SASE. I put the cardboard in that envelope. Then I put the photo, letter and SASE in the 10x13 envelope.
I also make sure to write PLEASE DO NOT BEND on the SASE.
