Take note, Leaf fans! The Western Alienation syndrome will kick in tonight in Van-City, and unexplainably bitter Vancouverites will generate "Leafs Suck" chants (only building in the league who does so... and we never get them back!) and I'd like Leaf fans to remember it, so when the Canucks come to town later in the year, we can finally return the favour! I'm serious, watch the reception the Leafs get. It'll be worse than what the fans in Ottawa or Montreal typically generate.

Think I read in the newspaper that burke is mad at Gillis and at the fans in Vancouver that everyone is making fun about his winless Leafs.

Well we are offically off to the worst start in history. GOOD going leafs. I'd be happy for draft picks but oh ya we traded them away. I'd be happy to have Pogge getting a shot at #1 but oh wait.....
ya we traded him away too.
This is going to be one hell of a rough year. Half this team isn't NHL material.

Canucks won 3-1
It would suck if I was a Leafs fan though.

I dunno what happened in the summer, I thought we were gonna lose and rebuild through the draft but instead Burke traded away my favourite player for basicly nothing and then traded 2 first round picks away. At least if we still had our first round pick I would be content knowing we would have a nice draft pick coming up. Now i just feel sick watching them lose EVERY game. haha sad time to be a Leaf fan.

Had the Leafs actually not been blind a few times, most notable Kesler's hand on the puck in the 3rd (I believe it was him), the Leafs would have has a few extra powerplays and a penalty shot. Ah well, they should take this loss with a grain of salt because today they actually showed up (for the most part).

7 STRAIGHT penalties? 4 was mind blowing enought however 7????!!!! Agreed some were bad luck. However these guys need to stop taking STUPID ones. I don't think my voice box will last through another game. I am close to cancelling Leafs TV. My god.
