Demitra - Out For Season?
On the heels of losing Daniel Sedin and Sami Salo, the Vancouver Canucks can add another player to the long-term injured list.
Winger Pavol Demitra is out indefinitely after suffering a setback in his recuperation from shoulder surgery.
Canucks' head coach Alain Vigneault said Demitra underwent another surgical procedure on the injured shoulder earlier this week.
The website hendrickshockey.com reported on its twitter account that Demitra is likely lost for the remainder of the season.
The slick passer has yet to play in a game this season.
Demitra originally suffered the injury during last season's playoff series with the Chicago Blackhawks and needed surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.
The Canucks should get some good news this weekend as defenceman Mathieu Schneider is slated to come off the long-term injured list on Sunday. He has also been out all season with a torn rotator cuff.

Was excited he signed on with the Canucks - thought he would be a Gaborik.... not quite as he seems to be "off" on his injuries.
While the money isn't affecting the 'Nucks and they can still spend it, it's still disappointing that his healthy talent is being wasted. Sure, it's a waste of money by Gillis, but at the same time, he's not towards the cap.
Go sign/trade for someone now Gillis.........

I remember Demitra from the Kings - He definitely has talent and looks to average a point per game but he gets injuried so easily....Sad....
I like Schneider too...He will do well, especially on the PP
