Wouldn't you rather have a chance at a higher pick in the lottery by missing the playoffs than getting the 8-seed and getting swept in the 1st round?
Not knocking the Bulls, but the Cavs played completely away from a normal game plan tonight, didn't have LeBron, played halfheartedly at best on defense, and still had two shots at the win IN Chicago.Last edited by nadeau01_johnson48; 04-08-2010 at 11:33 PM.

We were already got lucky enough to get rose number 1 last year...I'm not worried about getting another draft pick whatsoever, plus the odds of getting a better draft pick can't be that much better if you barely make the playoffs......i know lebron didn't play and i'm glad he didn't lol (thank you lebron for that gift)...i'd rather see the bulls get swept in the first round than not make the playoffs at all.....at least I'd have a minimum of four games to curse at lebron if the bulls make it

Jeremy, right now they'd get most likely the 13th pick, so i'd just try if i were them, even though they have no chance

Haha, I hear ya. Well, if you're in the playoffs, you're not in the lottery. That's why I was asking which you'd rather have. Good luck these last few games...got a big one vs. Toronto this weekend, I believe?

I'd rather be in the playoffs...Nothing beats getting playoff experience for younger guys like rose, joakim, and taj.....It was overall a bad season since they didn't progress from last season so it would be nice to still make the playoffs even after all the bad losses and injuries etc....Remaining schedule is NJ tomorrow away, Raptors sunday away, Boston at home tuesday, and Bobcats wednesday away...Raptors schedule is similar competion wise...They're remaining games are against ATL tomorrow, Bulls, Pistons, and Knicks but they will be without Bosh for the remainder of the season,

I think we can win 3 for sure, Nets, Raptors, Bobcats or Celtics. I would for sure no question rather be in the playoffs!

Go Bulls! Playoffs is always better than none at all. Cavs are definitely a better team than the Bulls this year, but playoff experience for young guys is always important. Plus, things are never 100% anyway, Jamison is hurt, Shaq is a liability so maybe the Bulls will win one game or even two. Of course, I think the Cavs will pull it off no matter what since David Stern is probably bent on making Lebron a legend and will make the refs ensure the Cavs victories.

When you put it that way, maybe the fix is in to get the Bulls in the playoffs anyways
A Chicago vs Cleveland series would def generate more revenue and viewers compared to Toronto vs Cleveland
