Six blasters gives you a pretty decent chance at a rookie patch. I pulled a Backstrom in the first blaster of HP that I did...I was pretty happy.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Bought 1 and got a Foligno auto patch. But retail is always a gamble--of course, you have to bet to win.

I used to buy almost nothing but blasters when I was in Florida. Hot prospects was by far the WORST blaster I ever bought. I would say that out of probably 10 blasters, I got 1 Hot Materials, 1 Red Hot Materials /100, and 1 or 2 rookies.

If you really want Hot Prospects, spend the little extra for a hobby box. If not, take the $40 and buy something else.

i wouldnt recommend those blasters, even if you get a game used its prolly just gonna be junk and the patches are real scarce!

I bought one at WalMart a couple of months ago and pulled a Ryan Callahan RC auto patch. They are a gamble just like any retail product, but if you can get six of them for $40 I would probably do it as you'd have a good chance of getting a patch or maybe two.

do it. you might pull nothing but then again you might not. 07-08 Hot Prospects retail blasters were the only breaks from a retail store where you had a good chance of pulling a RC Auto Patch or one of those White Hots Patch variations /10. for $40 for 6 blasters, sounds like you're getting them cheaper too.

what's the worst that could happen?
