House Leader Calls Health Bill "1,990 Pages Of Bureaucracy"
It is amazing to me that Democrats can't simply make a bill that is easy to read and not 1,990 pages. How in the world is anyone expected to read and understand what is going on? I don't think a single congressman or senator will read this bill in its entirety.

1900 Pages isnt that much. I have read 1000 Page text books that includes labs and exercises in less than 3 weeks. Stop being lazy and read it. Its not that hard. Im only one person. They can have different people read different parts. Common sense.

Are you kidding me? did you comprehend everything in those text books to the point you would feel confident knowing that voting for it could change lives of millions of people? Did you ACE the test you had to take? Was your book full of legal jargon?

I have not done the research but I'm guessing the Republicans have sent lengthy bills to vote as well.

My book was filled with IT technical jargon and I did ACE my exam. I believe I scored a 970/1000 with a 650 needed to pass. I would say I comprehended 90% of it where in a work environment it would effect the entire network.
Currently I read about 200-300 pages a day for college.

Like I said I'm only one person. If I had a whole team to read through it with me and then go over together I think that 10% would be covered. If I was in Congress we wouldn't have this problem. I would have that bill read in a few weeks with pages of my own notes. Did anyone read the Patriot Act? NO. Congress pushes crap through all the time without reading it. These people are crooks. They dont read it. Vote Yes or No then go golfing. Its not about the size of the bill, its their jobs. If this is sooooo Important that they would care soooo much about taxpayers they would have it read already
