Irritating!!!!
Now HERE'S one that irritates me!!!
. I mean..how HARD is it to get the right team tag on a card?? With the money "WE" as collectors are doling on on a DAILY basis...you'd think the card companies>> UD in this case..and MOST cases, would at least try to to get a couple things RIGHT!!!
1)
At LEAST get the team swatch right
PURE EXAMPLE
You got J.Crittenton w/a LAKERS swatch.. and Dominic McGuire w/what looks to be an "OLD SKEWL" Sonics swatch? #'d/10 !!! Man.. I'd be VERY upset..to say the least!! Specially if I was a LAKERS fan and saw a guy who collects Wizards pull a card like THAT one!! Wouldn't that patch look awesome on a Kobe patch card? Meanwhile YOUR Kobe card YOU got...has what? '1' purple piece of jsy?!?!? NICE goin UD.
2)
One of my biggest gripes are patches where patches SHOULD and SHOULDN'T be..
I mean...com'on..you just pulled a card #'d/10!! The card is MARKED patch..but..where's teh PATCH?? It's just a plain piece of boring jsy?? Then..your buddy pulls same card..#'d/150 w/a 5 color swatch?? What the !!?!?!?!

I agree. I mean lets face it UD has a way to bore the crap out of us with their lame (jersey pieces) that they called patches.

I hear you....same thing happens in all sports...here's MY example from NASCAR:
2007 Kurt Busch Hot Threads. Numbered to 10 has a patch.
I have one (on my web site) numbered to 145 and it HAS a patch!
I contacted Press Pass and was told it was an oops.Randy

I know what you mean. I find it interesting, though, that collectors recognize the differences in the patch cards regarding color breaks, and the value of the card is affected by this. Two otherwise identical cards have a wide range of ending sell values on ebay.

Upper Deck is not going to throw out all of their jerseys of a player once they get traded, it would be a HUGE waste of money for them. And the reason why those patches are so sick is because it is a Tag set. Meaning every swatch in that set is from a Tag...

I understand that..but, the one in the auction is from '2' WIZARDS players with one having a LAKERS tag and the other having a SONICS tag. What's so hard about putting some THOUGHT into a product before you release it.

its not a sonics tag, mcguire never played for the sonics, its for the thrwoback jsys, and it should say something like hardwood classICS

This is normal, they have those jerseys and if a player gets traded, they arent going to throw away the jerseys as bballcardheaven said. And, I mean, it's about the player, not the club, so it's all about that there is a jersey worn by that player, wether its for another club before he was traded or not, its about the player. Its normal, I dont get the hate for that.

I think Italy (HUGE Bulls team collector) would disagree, and so do I. Not everybody is a player collector. I'm a Bobcats fan, so I have a few Okafor cards. Now that he's with the Hornets, I won't collect any of his cards from this season forward.
