what would you do if you were an NBA GM?
So if you were the general manager of your favorite NBA team and commissioner Stern has decided to punish your team by forcing you to take one of the following players, who would you take?
Iverson (and his 3.5 million dollar salary)
or
Marbury (1.2 million dollar salary)
Personally, I'm a Lakers fan... so I'd take Marbury and the 1.2 million dollar salary. As soon as he showed up for practice, I'd send him home with his paycheck.Collecting GU, Autos, & certain Parallels/Inserts/RCS:

Kurt Suzuki/Tony Gwynn/Greg Maddux/Kobe Bryant/Aaron Rodgers/Brett Favre/Steve Largent/Devin Setoguchi/Ryan Miller

Well, I have two teams that I cheer for, so I'll do both...
Celtics - I'd take Marbury. He played for us at the end of last season, and I believe he would fit in better, considering he did fit in last year, whereas Iverson hasn't exactly been a team player on any team he's been on in the last several years.
Wolves - I'd take Marbury. If what jeebus said is what's going on, then Iverson would certainly screw up any team chemistry we have as a young team...plus, we have a rookie head coach, so that could play against Iverson being a team player. Although, Marbury left Minnesota on not-so-good terms before, so he may not want to return...then again, none of the players/staff that were part of the team when he left are still here.
So, it's unanimous - I'll take Marbury. :-)

Marbury because he wasn't really complaining when he was w/ the Celtics last season. So why would he complain this year.
Phil Jackson would be able to control Marbury, heck he might even play for our D-League team.

Without question I'll pick-up AI instead of Starbury.
Starbury has NEVER done anything productive his ENTIRE career.
AI on the other hand is still an explosive scorer, and has proven that he is an All-star and future HOFer.
Any Championship contender should jump on the opportunity to have AI on there team, but it's shame that people insist on being prisoners of the moment and refuse to remember all the accomplishments a AI has done.

Can I take both? I'd put them in a halftime show of Celebrity Death Match. That'd generate some ticket sales!

Then... different question... who do you think would win? This time I'd pick Iverson... there's a good chance that Marbury would be doped out, which would give the little man the edge.

i got the Twolves and i would take iverson because
hes a better player and we can give him a starting job think about the olny thing he complains about starting
plus he gives us a perimeter scorer to go with Flynn and Jefferson
Flynn/Sessions
Iverson/Elllington
Gomes/Brewer
Love when he comes back
Jefferson
I like that lineup and it would help greatly
