Election Day - Did You Vote?
Honestly, I forgot it was Election Day, but there was nothing to vote for where I live (nope, not even a school vote, or judges that I'm aware of), so I didn't miss anything. But, for those that had elections where they live, did you vote? If not, why?

I had forgot too until I saw the results coming in on the tv. Only town elections this year (I'm outside city limits), so nothing for me. And it looks like the one person I want voted out will be right back in...bullocks!

I turn on the T.V. see all those smear ads and negaitvity it makes me wonder if a person is even worth voting for anymore, I mean if they approve of these smear campaigns (they never tell the people for groups to stop..) Its pretty bad when you go in to vote thinking "Whos going to screw me the least" instead of "who is going to do the best job"

Yeah, it's almost who has the less dirty/nasty side to them...really unfortunate that is how we are forced to judge candidates now.

Yes I did. The Doofs in my city had a proposal for 15 million bucks to build a new Rec. Center. Would have increased most home taxes by 800-1000 per year. Genius Idea with 1 in 5 people up here in Michigan out of work, lets increase your taxes $60 plus dollars per month on your house
.
Needless to say I voted no seeing as my wife and I are both out of work.
Glad that proposal was voted down 71%-29%
