    2004 Score Football

Im usually a big spender on higher end products, but while I was at Kmart yesterday, I decided to buy them out of their inventory of 2004 Score Football. 72 packs in all, and you know what, not a single autograph or game used card. Even better than that? It was the first time in a long time I enjoyed ripping open a product. 7 cards per pack, 1 rookie and 1 glossy parallel card in every pack, all for $0.99 a pack. Plus I pulled a Clinton Portis Final Score Parallel #d/17, as well as a bunch of other stuff. It was so nice to open a product that makes you feel the fun of collecting. I am even going to far as to complete older score football sets. I dont know what value thay will have down the road, but the fun of busting their product at a relatively inexpensive price point was enough for me.

I am with ya on that one. I get the joys of retail to buy those types of boxes to have something to open. Ya hope to get something good but if not, no big deal. To just sit back, bust packs, and watch the Rc's come in is great.

I am with you boys, like i said on an other forum,i had more pleasure ripping a topps total(same kind of product than score) than busting a leaf certified materials box. It's always fun to get card from more than the 90 regular boys that you see in every set. It's always something great to get some card from the defense players.Congratulations to make that set something great !

Ripping low end products can be fun as you get a good amt. of rookies and alot more cards.

Yea, I bought a blaster of 09 Score and thought how it still had the characteristics of 04 (no. of cards and rookies).

    How is the 2009 Score?

Horrible design this year but 11 packs in a blaster box for $9.99

I usually buy a few blasters of Score each year just for fun. Last year I pulled 3 autos form a blaster box (the best was Ali Highsmith from LSU lol).

Isn't it a 440 card set this year? Might be something fun to do and it's cheap. I just hate all the rookies they put in there who haven't even played a down in the NFL.

I don't mind the rc's just include more vets.
