Should I contact UD?
First of all, I don't want to come off as being petty. I'm not mad at all, I'm honestly just curious what you fine folks here on the forums would do. Here's the deal. Last weekend I bought a rack pack of 09-10 O Pee Chee. It's supposed to have 32 cards, and it was only 5 bucks. I bought it because I love getting lots of cards for little money, so I figured what the heck, I could use the Lidstrom if I just happen to pull one. As many of you may know, rack packs have a top and bottom portion. That means 16 cards on top, 16 on bottom. I opened it up, and here's what I got.
Top portion:
card 1
card 2
card 3
repeat card 2
repeat card 3
Bottom portion: the exact same pattern!
Now I understand this is a low end product, but I bought it to build my set and instead 8 of the cards of the same 4 players. What I was really surprised and puzzled by was the identical patterns on top and bottom. So what would you do? Contact UD, if only to let them know so they can look into this? I would assume they wouldn't want to put out lots of product with that many doubles in it. Thanks in advance!

i would not bother. it is not like UD would do a recall of the cards so how ever many packs that they have like that. chances are good you just got some wonky pack or it may be a wonky box and chances are good that their are very few of them. also if you contact UD they will most likely not even contact you or do anything for you about it.

I have noticed terrible collation in recent UD products, especially OPC, UD and victory. One pack yields Parise, followed by Weber, followed by Chara. Several packs later, here comes another Parise and I'll give you a guess which cards came after...Yep...Weber and Chara. This is just one example. It happens far too often.
Not saying I don't expect to get doubles but when you can predict 7 out 13 cards in a pack by seeing one card, that is not good.Hidden Content

I've opened a little better than 100 packs of McDonalds this week. There is almost variety in the packs. You almost always get the same 3 cards together each time.

The same thing kinda happened to me earlier this year with Ice. A lot of the packs had the same pattern in them. It was really annoying. Out of 2 boxes I still don't have a full base set. I have more doubles than anyone would ever need.
I've heard UD has bad QC.
