Houston Texas I believe.
What really honks me, as a Tiger fan, is that they STILL haven't announced yet where the 2005 All-Star game will be. Traditionally the location is announced three years early, just before the All-Star game. In other words the 2005 location should've been announced last year at this time.
The Tigers are making a strong bid for it, and it seems like they are the perfect fit...- Odd numbered years, by tradition, are played in AL parks (even numbers in NL parks). Detroit is, obviously, an AL team.
- Every other AL team (except for the DevilRays) have hosted the All-Star game since the Tigers last did it.
- The All-Star game has, of late, been used to "Showcase" some of the new Stadiums in the MLB. The Tigers has a nice new stadium to showcase.
And yet the MLB still hasn't announced the location. Selig has, in fact, go so far as to indicate that he might be willing to break the tradition of AL/NL park locations and do an NL park in 2005!
At one point the 2006 location was even listed on MLB's website (though I can't, right now, find it...may have been removed) but still no word on the '05 location.
I think it would be a real coup for Detroit to host the SuperBowl in the NFL's 2005 season and the All-Star game in the MLB's 2005 season, but it seems that for whatever reason Selig isn't too interested in doing it. :(

Minor correction RedMania... it's Comerica Park.
And you're right that there may not be a whole lot of homers, but with the great big outfield there would be lots of hits and plenty of action.
Besides, Comerica ain't that much bigger than Safeco Field, and the MLB had no problem playing the game there in '01

I am hoping the All star game comes to Edison Field for the Angels in the next few years.
