It's a shame that a player with still so much talent, be forced to retire early....
I hope you haters are happy.

I am happy. Playing in the NBA is not a right, he should shut the heck up and be gratful he is on an NBA team.

He isn't being forced to retire early by anyone but himself. From what I have gathered, if he can't start and get all the shots he isn't happy. He still is a very talented player, but to think that he still deserves a starting point guard spot and get a bunch of shots per game is not going to work for any team.

Its a shame someone with so much talent has such a big ego, no one forced him to retire, no one forced him to sign with the Grizzlies, he knew what he was getting into, the team seems to have never told him he'd for sure be a starter, jeez i swear you may have the least factual info on AI around here...
EXACTALLY, he has his choice to play wherever he wanted to he chose Memphis, its his own fault

Thank God....he should have make that decision a long time ago. He needs to realize that he is not the same AI as some years back. This is a greaat decision.

if the dumb grizzlies would just start him it wouldne be an issue. theyre both stupid. i really hate to see a great player go down and out like this.

He hasnt played well enough to start, and they dont want him playing PG where he wont pass the ball, i wouldn't start him over Gay or Mayo, both who have possibilities of being franchise players and great scorers

AI needs to realize that there are better players than him, a lot of them. He needs to start thinking as a team member and not as a single player. If he rather retired and make no money than to suck it up and play, so be it.
