    Finally, Mark Recchi notches 900th assist

    At 41, Mark Recchi is more interested in team goals than anything else, but when the inevitable milestones come along, he doesn’t mind cherishing those, either.

    Last night, Recchi assisted on Daniel Paille’s huge insurance goal in the third period of the Bruins [team stats]’ 3-0 win over Pittsburgh. Recchi sent Paille away on a breakaway, and it was the future Hall of Famer’s 900th career assist.
