I've always felt bad for Scott; as soon as his teams start out bad, he's fired, despite all the success that he's had prior.
With the Nets, management fired him, despite leading the team to back-to-back Finals the previous season. Scott led the Hornets towards relevance, just 2 seasons ago, but with a 3-6 start, he's gone. But, I still think that Byron Scott will find another job, either this season or next.

Well, needless to say, the wrong person took the blame for the Hornets lack of success.
The Lakers should take advantage of this opportunity and hire him as a Assistant Coach so he could be Phil's successor.
