Question about ebay items
I have a question for you, im thinking about lately. I recently won an item on ebay, my winning bid was; $0.99 and on the item page of the seller it said shipping would be; $4 . The item is in USA and im from Europe.
So, I dont see any problem here, I just paid and waited.
Then, I got the card shipped home and I see on the envelope that shipping costed $1.44 instead of $4 .
Is this normal? Shouldn't the costs be, $0.99 for the item + $1.44 for shipping = $2.43 ??
I hope im not asking stupid questions here.
I dont feel bad or something and its about the money, I was just interested.

No it shouldnt of been $1.44 but not $4 either, have to take the cost of the bubble mailer if its a new one into the total cost, as well as supplies, so mostlikely shipping should've been $3, not a big deal in my opinion, obviously you wanted the card enough to spend $5 total, no harm no foul in my opinion

......shipping and handling charges include: postage, packaging and the trip to the post office, along with anything else the sender wants to throw in there....
That's one of the bad things about eBay....the seller usually charges alot more for mailing the package than what it really cost.
I always add what I am bidding and postage together before I bid...checking it against BV to make sure I am getting a good deal.Randy
Shipping: I only ship to U.S. Addresses!
